Candle Care Tips

Here at The Baker's Wick Candle Co. we want you to have the best experience possible when enjoying our hand crafted items.

Please follow these tips below for the best performance of your candle.

• ONLY burn your candle on a sturdy, fire resistant, level surface within eyesight.
• Keep your candles out of reach of children and pets.
• Trim your wicks to 1/4 inch before burning to avoid soot and provide a clean even burn every time.
• Your very first burn is critical to your candle experience. Therefore, DO allow the wax melt pool to reach the edge of the candle jar before extinguishing the candle. This prevents the candle from tunneling and having unused wax in the jar.
• DO NOT burn in drafty areas or move your candle while it is lit. CAUTION YOUR CANDLE VESSEL WILL BE VERY HOT!! 
• AVOID burning your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
• To extinguish your candle, please blow out or use a candle snuffer. DO NOT use the candle jar lid to extinguish the candle.
• DO NOT leave your candle unattended while lit.
• DO NOT burn your candle near flammable materials.
• DO not ingest any of our products as tempting as The Baker's Wick products may sound or smell.
